#6 Apologetics
Alright so I know I am doing a kind of different blog but I thought that you would be interested. So as you can probably tell from the title it is called apologetics. The question then becomes what is apologetics? It is the defense for religious doctrine using logic.
You may ask why am I talking about this. I think that a lot of people don't actually think about what they believe and so they just go through their day and never have their beliefs challenged. You also have people like myself which never knew where to search to find the answer I am looking for. So I will try and explain what apologetics. What an apologist does is he finds where someone might find and inconsistency in the bible and see if their is a logical explanation for this problem.
One example I have run across is "can God make a rock he can't pick up? If no then he isn't all powerful, If yes then he isn't making a rock that he can't pick up." The answer to this is first to understand that this question is logically impossible. It is like saying you can have a round square, or a married bachelor. We also know that there are things God can't do like he can't sin because he is the perfect being. he can't die because he is the god of the living (yes Jesus as a human did die but Jesus as god did not). This shows us that he is a god of logic not chaos. So the answer to the question is no he can't do the logically impossible.
That is just one example that I decided to use to show you what I mean. I hope you found this interesting. bye
Your four new entries look pretty good, Christopher. Your writing flows fairly well, and you have good visual appeal with images and layout. You are developing your content somewhat, but there is still room to analyze further and create more significance for your audience. Keep working the concepts of rhetoric to connect to your audience and keep them engaged. Keep at it!
